Are the t-shirts only for the people who can go?

I'll see if there is an interest in t-shirts from the other travellers and how many people are going, then I'll make some calls to see if we can get some printed. Greg, do you have a larger image of our logo anywhere that might be suitable for printing?

How long does it take to fly to Hong Kong?

Greg we were at a Christening a few months ago and being good catholics I was sitting up the back of the church talking to my daughter about how you can get fried bugs on a stick in Hong Kong. We went through all the types of bugs we would eat and then in a voice loud enough for the priest to hear she says:

"Mum, my friend Bradley told me that if you get a maggot who crawls up your bottom its called a faggot."

I just about slid under the pew!

Sydney to Hong Kong takes 8hours 50 minutes.

I drank a glass of fresh snakes blood before eating the rest of the snake and another time had deep fried bamboo grubs in China. There's not much I won't try once so that's why I'm keen to try the food in Hong Kong, especially the stuff that's cooked on the streets. I might stay away from the faggots though.

I went all out when I was in Hong Kong - I ate hamburgers, chicken burgers, fish and chips, and sweet and sour pork (I am very adventurous when it comes to food )

But I assure you Greg, there is plenty of different things for sale - especially at street vendors (and especially for duck lovers!)

So 8 and a bit hours - thats not so bad. Leave on a Monday, play for two days and fly bak on a Thursday -I can do that!!!

Ok, the wide berth that I would be taking if faced with consuming something that disgusting would be about Grand Canyon sized.
Do you pack a stomache pump in your luggage Greg?

I've done Yum Cha................I could hack Hong Kong (They have Maccas don't they? - JUST KIDDING)
Oh and no way would I eat chickens feet or any kind of insect - deep fried, on a bamboo stick or not

But I'd have a front row seat to watch someone else try and get that stuff down.

Yes, they have Maccas, but apart from the Big Mac, everything else there was strange - like crab burgers etc...so I had a coffee and a muffin...(brave boy!) Maccas did have lots of chicken things (it looked more like a KFC menu!) but I wasn't eating much chicken when I was over there.

I like to try some strange food when I travel but I have some allergy issues (including some of the antidotes) so have to be real careful or I might just stop breathing. But I did try some odd food in Tokyo. Have no idea what was in those dumpling but am betting sake was one of the ingredients! The Maccas in Japan have some GREAT weird stuff too and I tried it all - They had these weird fried balls with god knows what inside but they were tasty - tried them a few times! And of course the McTeriyaki burgers were to die for! I can't eat shellfish of any description so the Mc Crab burgers would be out....

But it is all for a good cause - and they are still taking bookings!
