:)

Gerard, Sandie and Keith,

I will be getting the final details from the Travel agent who is co-ordinating the trip with the Wholesaler for us on Monday morning. I hope to copy the complete details here on Monday evening at the latest. I will also Email to Greg to add to a link from the front page of the site. We have a number of people planning on coming and hopefully more as it goes out to all club members in the mail on Monday evening. The details on the Main part of the trip and the optional Tokyo Disney Resort will be included. Also a special optional sheet will be included with things like Lunch with an Imagineer at Disney MGM Studios; Tour of Disney sites in LA and much more.
The part in LA is for 7 nights including a 14 day Australian park hopper pass which means people can enter the park on the evning we arrive. You will also be able to extend your time in LA at the end of the tour as we will have a round the world air ticket.

I so want to do this!!!! Wayne you are an utter, utter *%(&* for dangling this amazing trip in front of me, but there is no way I would be able to afford it. :( (Sorry Wayne, that was just a moment of intense jealousy coming out in me. :D )

You have done a phenomenal job arranging this and to all those who can do it I say DO IT! I look forward (with green eyes) to hearing all about it, hopefully with posts here and photos in the gallery as you go around.

Hi Gerard,

Jim and I are going (including Japan) I'm sure that you'll be able to find somebody to share with to reduce the cost. We were talking to a guy at the last meeting who said that he was quite interested and would probably be travelling solo (sorry but we can't remember his name) I'm sure that Wayne could give you his info.

It would be good to find someone to share to lower the costs, but I am not too worried about it.

I had a chat with Jennie this morning and she confirmed that we are the seven so far that had booked - ie. Wayne & Jennifer, Julie & Jim, Gerard, me & Della. She said that response was fantastic - considering the brochure hadn't been received by anyone yet! She was in the process of blocking more rooms for the club!

Nicole and Matt were hoping to come, but I spoke to Nicole today and her boss (boo...hiss...) rejected her leave application :( So I'm not sure what is happening there.

But things are looking good for the rest of us. I'd love to check out Tokyo, but couldn't afford it or the extra time off at this stage - so it is on the burner for 2009 (2008 is WDW and the Cruise line...)

Is anyone interested in Down Under Disneyana club t-shirts with "World Tour 2006 - Sydney, Tokyo, Hong Kong, Paris, Orlando, Anaheim" or something similar printed on the rear? Does anyone know a decent local t-shirt screen printer that can do a small run?

There better be another one of these trips when I can go.....
