I'm feeling the downward spiral of being away from Disney so am keen, but will see how I go over the next week to determine whether I can get down to Sydney so soon after a trip!

So who's coming on Saturday!  Karen is definitely coming to the meeting - all the way from Brisbane   You might have to do a talk on your experiences during the virus lockdown in Shanghai!

And who is up for dinner - Della and I will be at the Bankstown Sports Club around 5:45pm.

It was great to see so many people on Saturday - I certainly had fun catching up.

Big shout out to Karen who came down from Brisbane for the meeting.

Some great presentations this week from people returning from unique trip. Wayne from the opening of Rise of the Resistance at WDW.  Lisa from the 1980's night at Disneyland.  Elissa from Disneyland.  And of course Karen and her adventures during the Shanghai corona virus lock down.

Looking forward to doing it all again in May!

Animated movie Mulan Watch details below:
 
Movie event Mulan planned for Saturday 4th April. Due to the Corona virus and the delay in the release of Mulan and also the possible closure of cinemas I have decided to have a stay at home event. Please join us as we watch the Disney animated movie Mulan at home on Disney+ or on DVD. I will set up a Face Book account where during and straight after watching the animated movie you can comment with others from the club. We also plan to do some true and false trivia and a few other surprises.
Please at this time say safe.
I will sent out an email at the start of April with the Facebook account.
 
For our next meeting planned for Saturday 2nd May we are now planning a virtual meeting. If you have any ideas on ways we can all  join together virtually that would be great. The time will be exactly the same 7.30pm.

It was a great movie night last night, with I think about 12 people + kids (Gerard - glad you were able to come in on the second meeting).  Was fun hearing the kid's perspectives and input - Mackenzie knows her trivia!  Having not seen Mulan in a while it was great to see it again and listen to the songs.

Looking forward to the next meeting on 2 May and celebrating Rebecca, Brad and Keith's birthdays over Zoom.

While it's nice that I'll be attending yet another meeting this year with the September meeting being on Zoom, in some ways it'll be nice when it's safe enough for people to catch up in groups again.

Yes - I agree!  Let's hope we'll get back to some sort of normal next year perhaps.

Wayne is thinking of having a socially distanced picnic at some point - bring your own food and sit on a blanket somewhere. But as for an actual meeting - I guess it won't happen until next year now.
