This opens here today but I'm really torn as to whether I want to go and see it.
Anyone seen it and can offer an opinion.
Or haven't seen it and can still offer an opinion.

I haven't seen it as yet but have heard good and bad reviews, largely good ones. At least one bad review didn't like that there are people in it, so I guess it depends what you liked most about the original. I'm planning to go with a friend in the next few weeks. This opens here today but I'm really torn as to whether I want to go and see it.

I have seen a lot of reviews and it seems to be a real mixed bag. It may depend very much on your opinion of Tim Burton as much as anything else.I haven't seen it as yet but have heard good and bad reviews, largely good ones. If you do go, let me know your thoughts on it!
I'm concerned about Tim Burton's involvement as I'm not a fan of his work, however I'm going with a friend and her little girl tomorrow afternoon. The ads make it look like my type of movie (as ads are designed to do). Going by some reviews and taking into consideration I'm a crier, I'll have the tissues packed.Shazam was good.
I still haven't seen Dumbo and doubt I'll be making any special effort. I am looking forward to The Lion King but have mixed feelings about Aladdin.

In terms of the crying - very well actually with only slightly damp eyes toward the end (no tissues required). In terms of the movie - no sign of the Tim Burton I don't enjoy, just the good side. I enjoyed the movie and I liked that it was it's own story while also holding true to the original just enough. To me having people in it added new dimensions and provided a different slant to the storytelling giving this movie something different so I wouldn't say I have a preference - both versions have their place (in my opinion anyway).Della is a crier in movies too How did you go at Dumbo?
Yes, now you have me wondering if I should see it.Thanks Karen - that's probably the best non-spoiler review I've read!
Haha, sorry I was trying to be neutral which is why I added it could wait for the small screen …… depending what you enjoy. I love feel good movies.Yes, now you have me wondering if I should see it.
