So, is a membership worth it?

We love it just for the magazine.  I think it would be better value if you were in the US so that you could attend more of the D23 events though.  It is expensive to be a Gold member when you factor in the magazine shipping costs.

I was looking at it and the only thing that may make it worthwhile would be the yearly gift. Problem is that they don't ship to Thailand so I would be up for the extra cost of getting it to Australia and then sent here. How many "select" membership events are you invited to in the free membership?

I've been a member since day 1, and love it.  Like Keith said, the magazines are definitely worth it.  Although i have a lot of trouble actually receiving the magazines for some reason...
Every year I say it will be the last year i do it, but then i see the yearly gift and go "just one more year"

I was also lucky enough to line up one of my trips with the Archives/Studio tour in Burbank that they run a few times a year.  I'm not sure if they have a limit on those kinds of events you dcan attend each year, but i know that for the movie premiere red carpet events they offer now you can't go to 2 in a row.
