MARCH scrap challenge 2010 : A Bugs Land /Hollywood Studios

Hello Scrappers

Ok, well here is the March challenge for any of those of us who love the paper arts. Was thinking I'd choose something from DCA this month.

In case the area I chose this month was too obscure for everyone I decided to give an extra option... here goes....

Scrap anything from 'A BUGS LAND'.... there are heaps of rides, or the tough to be a bug show, or meet and greets with characters or just the 'buggy' decor....

AND/OR

Choose something from 'HOLLYWOOD STUDIOS' .... theres rides, shops, shows and character meet and greets.

I'm going to attempt to do a LO for both areas cos I'm keen to finish this album and am still a LOOOOOONG way off.

Am thinking with so many of our members just returned from trips, there has to be a few scrappers working on albums. Feel free to join in... email either myself ( PM me for my current addy) or Sandie a photo and description of your Lo and we'll make sure it gets shown here... or alternatively, post it straight into the thread if you wish.

Hello Scrappers... hows your March Challenge going?

Well, I'm ahead of the game this month with one LO done and another on the go.

This one is of Atta and Flik at DCA :

Products used:
Lots and lots of glitter on this LO with kindy glitz, jewels and pearls. The mini heart and circle are embossed with a Cuttlebug and then inked with purple distress ink and blue shimmer ink. All the papers,letter stickers and jewels are Kaiser crafts from'Airy Fairy' and 'Lilac Lane' ranges. Inked and distressed the edges of pretty much everything. Butterflies are hand cut from the patterned paper scraps and then glittered.


Hidden journaling:

"Waiting in line for 6 hours on opening day of the new TSM ride was exceedingly boring and extremely hot, but when the queue laboriously snaked through A Bugs Land, there was a little bit of relief with some very welcome shade and a visit from Flik and Atta . It was really quick and the photos were hurriedly snapped by another queue member but it was the only time I saw them for the whole trip and I wasn’t letting the chance of a photo op go by. They were surprisingly soft for such big bugs."

OK, well, I've finished my Monsters Inc Lo for the Hollywood Studios part of this challenge... haven't taken photos yet, but will post this on Wednesday when I have a day off and enough daylight to get a decent shot.


Has anyone else done a LO for the challenge this month or am I the only one scrapping at the moment?

Anyhoo... Sandie, over to you to choose April's challenge... or if you want, I am happy to do it, either way is fine with me.
