There is no CORRECT answer from a male's perspective to that last question - observe:
Male (spoken truthfully): "No dear"
Female: "You're just saying that - you do think I look big. Don't you like me anymore?"
or...
Male: "Yes dear"
Female: "I don't believe you said that - you can't say things like that about me! Don't you like me anymore?"
...you see - no correct answer - even when speaking the truth!
Better for us to keep our mouths shut and turn on the football
I sometimes use the line "Well, what answer do you want me to say?" and then I just get the glare!
(oops...got a bit off topic for the sake of comedy!)
