Once upon a Time - Walt Disney

Postby Minnies Yoo Hoo » Mon Mar 26, 2007 9:55 am

Has anybody else ordered a copy of "Once upon a time" Walt Disney The sources of inspiration for the Disney studios? Our copy has just arrived and it was well worth the wait! Aside from it's historical content, it's a beautiful coffee table book of art. I think it's still available thru Amazon, We went thru the UK site, just be aware that it's available in French and English.
It's a must for any serious Disney book collector!

Hope that it's being delivered to you as I type this Keith, as it's well worth the wait.

Another beautiful book that is really, really, worth tracking down and investing in is "Disneyland Paris from sketch to reality". It is also available in either English or French translation and has some of the most fabulous photograpic shots of the rides and attractions, especially the aerial ones, they give a unreal overall perspective of the different "lands" inside the park. A must for anybody who has ever been, or is planning to go to Disneyland Paris.
and guess what? ...............there is not a protester in sight! (sorry, I couldn't help myself)

I was so tempted to get this book when we were in the Park - but I just didn't want to lug it all the way home via the US. Since I've been back, I look at it nearly every week on Mice Age (the author is a regular contributor and he is always touting it!) but haven't lifted a finger to purchase it.

Based on your recommendation though, I think it is time to bite the bullet and invest!

Disney books are beginning to take over my house... :)
