I saw this on board the Fantasy and as a huge Roald Dahl fan, this was a truly brilliant adaptation of the book... I've read so many bad reviews, but the way it sticks to the laborious language that is a part of the appeal of the book was magical.
Without boring your all to death about narrative style and word balance and rhythm, the script was in safe hands with Spielberg. I will def be adding this to my collection.
