The first I heard of the Hurricane was on a friends FB page, he's there working at WDW on an internship - hes a lifeguard at Blizzard Beach, and there's a lot of chatter about when and if it'll hit, so I'm please to hear its going to miss Orlando, for both Josh and Gerards sake.
My friend Jeannette is currently in her basement in Delaware hoping it doesn't flood. she seems most upset that she left her last packet of Tim Tams upstairs!!!!! She has had reports of tornados in her area as well.

Oh Dear... hope Jeanette and her family came through the hurricane and tornados safely...

 I'd be letting the hurricane take the Tim Tams...I'm probably the only person in the world that doesn't like them .

There are a lot of people here who have been stranded by Irene, most will leave today.
Yesterday I did a bit of park hopping, did most of Animal Kingdom, then a quick dip ay Blizzard Beach and then back to POP for a shower then finshing the day with extra magic hour at Magic Kingdom.
Somewhere at MK, I lost my Annual Pass
Today I am doing Universal, then back here to replace my pass.

There are a few Australian Cast members here, and a lot of main land Chinese cast members in training.

Wow - no mucking around there. It is still about four years before the park opens!

Sitting in the guest laundry waiting for my close to dry, did MK this morning, the crowds are lite.
I recommend the Fork and Screen at AMC DTD, its the best way to watch a movie.
Not sure which park I will do this afternoon but tomorrow I plan to use my second day ticket at universal than maybe a water park.

Had a walk around POP while washing, the new Animation Resort is coming along nicely.

That's great to hear. I can't wait to check it out once it has opened.

Wish I was there (maybe not in the laundry, but in the parks!)

Just finished the best Pork Chop I have ever had at the brown Derby ( guess which park I chose?) I think I will have dessert and call it an early night.

mmm...pork....mmmm

You're at Disney's Hollywood Studio Park! I've only eaten at the Brown Derby once (in fact, you were with us if I remember!) - nice food.

Having an early night? These trips do start to have that affect on you after a while! (Or maybe you are just getting old? :) )

Good to hear. The new promo pics I've seen of the rooms look awesome. Still a long time until we will be there though :(

Did you have a Buttebeer? We preferred the frozen ones - and what about the pumpkin (coloured and flavoured apple) juice? I also remember the cinamon pumpkin tart being very tasty!

Plus you forgot to remind you to lend you my Rainforest Cafe Card!

I'm sitting in my secret spot to watch the MSEP. This morning I did one of the best experiances in a Disney park, the wild animal trek at AK. Then had lunch at Trex a cool off at typhoon lagoon and now at MK.
So how is you week going?

:P
