OCTOBER 2013 challenge

Lisa and I thought we should start these challenges again. Each month a new challenge will be set (let us know if you want to be in the challenge setting roster). All you need to do is upload your photo online somewhere and do an image link to here, I'm sure Keith can remind us how to do it!

This months challenge..........................

Scrapbook a page showing you or your travelling buddies eating in a Disney park ( Lisa I think we have about fifty photos of this)

Feel free to upload more than one layout!

Oh, Sandie remind me when we catch up in Nov to give you another USB... one of them failed and I haven't seen half of the photos.
If I ask nicely, you might be able to put them on a new stick for me at your leisure? perhaps...

How do I upload a photo?

Maybe that question is a bit premature but I have a half finished page in my 2005 album that fits the challenge and I'm just about 99% computer illiterate!

Hiya - you will need a Flickr or Photobucket account to store your photos, but if you don't have an online photo storage account, I'll send you my personal email address and you can send the photo to me - I'll be able to upload it for you.

Ok lets see if I remember how to do this. This is a "G" Project Life protector. It is only 12" x 10". Its not particularly creative but that's my life today!

So Keith obviously I have forgotten something! I uploaded my photo to photo bucket. I copied the properties to here in between "img" links but no photo. What steps did I leave out?

I've struck a snag as well, the only decent photo processing anywhere in my area is currently being renovated ... and I can't get photos till they're done... I'm just praying they haven't changed their machines to all the crappy ones that Kmart/Hardly Normal have up here... might as well print them myself they are so bad.

I may have to do the page backward and leave a space for the snap.

Hi Sandie - you almost got it right - it looked like you copied the URL of the whole page rather than just the image. I've fixed it for you.

To get the right link in Photobucket, go to your library containing the photo and hover your mouse over the thumbnail of the photo you want to show on our website and a little cog will appear. Move you mouse over the cog and a dropdown menu will pop up. Select "Get Links" from the drop down menu. You will be shown four different link versions - you need to select "Direct". Clicking on the "Direct" link will copy it to your clipboard. Then just come back here and paste that link between the IMG tags just like you did.

Hello Disney scrappers

I have done last months page but can't upload as yet... I have the new laptop sorted, and now for some reason Optus have almost no coverage in my area.

I'll try and upload it asap through another source.

Meanwhile, I hope its ok Sandie if I set the next months challenge? Stay tuned. -/
