Hello scrappers? A whole year of inactivity?

Umm hello there!
Yesterday I picked a my mail from the post office (I've been at WDW for 3 weeks) and I collected a parcel from "Scrap Your Trip" (my fav Disney scrapbooking store)...
Today I opened it! OMGosh I didn't remember ordering all this stuff. I did remember to hide it before my DH came home though.
Anyway the moral of the story is - I need to scrap! I am still doing our 2005 Disney trip, I have the 2006 photos processed and the 2008 and 2010 albums in the cupboard ready, the 'formal' dining room floor is covered with papers and titles ready to go and now this package comes along to make me want to scrap 2011 FIRST. Oh and our youngest child is 6 years old and I haven't even purchased his baby album yet so non Disney scrapping is way in the future. WWYD?
Oh dear,I need inspiration and a whole lotta time to do it (and to stay away from the Disney boards so I don't plan another Dis-trip until 2012). Help!

I am not a scrapper but I did buy all the paraphernalia on my 2005 trip as it was through Make-a-wish for my son and I've only ever done 1 page.
I need to contract someone to do it for me. Now there's a business idea!

I just thought about the greeting in the thread title and realised it was implying that we are a less than savoury lot

Pulease - I have a custom built scrapbooking room, photos from a 200t trip, a 2009 trip and a 2010 trip to scrap and I have done 1 whole layout this year!!!!!
My youngest is 13 next week and has no baby album!!!
I believe I win the slackness title!

Ok you win!
I still have a problem...since my post 5 days ago I had another ebay package arrive (more Disney scrapbooking items) and in the very early hours of this morning I shopped online at
www.scrapbook.com and ordered MORE items. I think maybe therapy is in order! I definately have more items than I will ever use and enough to fill decades worth of Disney albums... (Have you seen the great new Disney cruise items?)
At last count I have page sketches (lifted from many galleries, crop nights and previous own designs) for 240 pages, plenty of room for working and obviously lots of supplies - you'd think I was all set. I just need a kick in the right direction - once started I'll be fine.
When is the club trip to Shanghai? I'll set myself another goal...

yep, it has been a quiet scrapping year for me as well... I spent the first half of the year studying, had a couple months grace and whipped up a few pages but am now starting a new job so the scrapping might still be on the 'to do' list.
I also moved homes over this last weekend, and it took me two full days to pack the scrap room and while the new place has a spare room, I'm yet to decide if it'll indeed become a scrap room as its the only dark room in the house. The truly scary part of the whole exercise was the realisation that almost 1/3 of what was moved over the weekend, had the word 'scrapping' written on the box, and it quite literally doesn't all fit in the house, and it wasn't exactly packed in any kind of an order ( much as I tried to keep everyone on the same page - pardon the pun) so it'll likely take me 6 months to locate anything anyway.

Since moving from Sydney two years ago I have yet to unpack 14 boxes of stuff that is still in the garage.
Sadly at least 3 of those boxes are full of brand new Creative Memories albums
I just need the world to stop for a few months and I can catch up (that and Disney stop all their advertising and I wouldn't be searching the internet for free dining offers in 2012-lol)

Hope you're getting lots of business Jess
How many LO's did you get done Sandie?
I haven't scrapped in AGES but now that we're all but through the 'move house/graduate high school/start a new job' phase, I might start thinking about it again...
Am going to do an 8 x 8 album for Millie's Graduation ... hundreds of photos to pare down to a fraction of what was taken.

Doh! No time for scrapping here lately either!
We have had guests from the Uk and my MiL too (home on Monday and I'll be taking her to the airport myself just to make sure she really leaves-lol). Lots of fun times with them plus a reno at our restaurant and christmas parties for school and work...phew!
Oh and I must add that I have spent way too much time planning our disney 2012 getaway - our very first ever cruise on the Fantasy. We have done all the disney parks and are now started on the four Disney ships - I'm so excited especially as my DH suggested it. (The same DH that said "Don't plan, don't look for discounts, we're not doing Disney in 2012).
I probably should get some chores done before work tonight, but I'll be back again soon. Hopefully somebody can get some scrapping done soon - good luck everyone.

LOL... famous last words huh.... its hard to resist a great Disney holiday in the works.... happy planning, that is a fun part of the holiday I think.
I'm doing my 'scrapped Christmas tree' again this year, so had better get going on doing that or the tree with be bare - though it always comes together much later than I had hoped because it always takes longer than I expect to do about 70 tiny LO's to hang amongst the tinsel... Love how it looks when its done though.

Hehe - maybe he's coming around to being a Disney nut?! You should tell him to log onto the forum
