Yes! Those films were so great and I find it hard to believe we've actually caught up to the future date - it seemed so far in the future when those movies actually came out...and here we are!

The really scary thing for me is that 1955 seemed so far in the past compared to 1985 but 1985 seems like just a couple of years ago compared to now.

I remember going to see the second one when I was a kid - a big treat! I even remember the movie theatre, and my brothers and I excitedly talking and dreaming about the hoverboards we were going to get. Still waiting :cry:

Exactly!!!

I was 15 in 1985, yet 1955 seemed like the dark ages! So do 15 year old kids today think of 1985 as the dark ages too? That's not fair (we are old :( )
