Name of Hotel:Hotel Santa Fe

Price you paid for room:Package - no idea!

Was this price high season/low season? Shoulder (Sept)

Hotel Amenities (Restaurants, pools, Internet, etc): Great dining area, don't think there was a pool, internet (pay) in the lobby.

Room Amenities (bar fridge, room safe, LCD/CableTV, etc): Basic amenities, TV, I think it had a fridge.

Onsite/offsite: Onsite

Transportation to parks available: Bus or 15 minute walk. We always walked because it was a beautiful stroll alongside a river lined with trees.

What you liked: Amazing complimentary buffet breakfast (really good and it more than made up for other short comings.)

What you didn't like: Rooms are basic. Some hallway noise (thin doors I guess) however as it was mostly families, it was always quiet by 9:30pm-10pm.

Would you stay here again: Only if I was on a budget, but if not, I'd try a different resort here. This was good, clean, basic family accommodation, but after coming from the Hollywood Hotel in HK, the rooms were a bit of a let down.

Name of Hotel: Disneyland Hotel

Price you paid for room: I didn't pay :) I do know it was not cheap.

Was this price high/low season? Shoulder - October

Hotel Amenities (Restaurants, pools, Internet, etc): Indoor pool, daycare centre, restaurant (x2 I think) with character meet and greets, a bar, a big shop selling souvenirs, some personal items and snack foods, very pleasant lobby area with many chairs/lounges to sit and relax and constant flow of Disney characters.

Room Amenities (bar fridge, room safe, LCD/CableTV, etc): the usual, but was very intricately decorated. Rooms were more spacious than the average hotel room and very pleasant

Onsite/offsite: onsite

Transportation to parks available: none, considering location of park was right on the park's doorstep. The studio park and the Disney Village was about 5 min walk.

What you liked: Pretty much everything. Location of hotel was amazing. It was like having Disneyland in the backyard!! Staff were helpful, environment was fairly relaxing, food very good. The characters were everywhere, at every meal we had there and just hanging around the hotel walkways. At one dinner we met Chip AND Dale, Goofy, Mickey, the Queen of Hearts from Alice in Wonderland, Tigger and Pinocchio.

What you didn't like: The size of the hotel was pretty daunting. The walk from our room to the hotel exit was much longer than the walk from the hotel exit to the park entrance.

Would you stay here again: Yes, please!!!

Name of Hotel: Hotel L'Elysee Val d'Europe, Serris.

Price you paid for room: $119 per night.

Was this price high season/low season? low season ( Winter)

Hotel Amenities (Restaurants, pools, Internet, etc): Free Internet ( very good), Restaurant, Bar, gym, probably a pool but it was subzero temps so didn't think about it, literally across the road from a massive shopping centre with double story supermarket for quick and cheap snacks - this would be amazing for families. Very friendly and helpful service and a handy brochure rack with 20% off vouchers for Earl of Sandwich ( when we were there) and other discounts - including Disney tickets ( at the time we were there, 3 days park hopper for the price of 2 days).

Room Amenities (bar fridge, room safe, LCD/CableTV, etc): room safe, TV, plenty of room in the actual room, free internet in the rooms, comfy beds ( but still firm as is the European style),

Onsite/offsite: offsite.... but only a 10 min free shuttle. Great for families that want to buy cheap snacks at the supermarket across the road.

Transportation to parks available: yes... free shuttle on local buses right out the front of the hotel. Took 10 mins.

What you liked: Everything. It was the most convenient, friendly and cost effective hotel we stayed at in Europe. Nothing was too much trouble and the free internet in the rooms was remarkably fast. Was literally across the road from the train station so we simply wheeled our luggage across the road and we were there. No taxi's required. The shopping centre was enormous and also across the road, which would be great for those wanting to buy cheap breakfast/snacks - which we did every day - its open till 9 pm. The park food ( even by Disney standards) is very expensive when you consider the exchange rate so this is a great cost saving.

What you didn't like: can't think of a thing.

Would you stay here again: in a heartbeat.
