Pal Mickey

Postby KeithS » Thu Jun 01, 2006 9:10 pm

Heyya everyone (or at least everyone who has been to WDW) - has anyone here purchased a Pal Mickey? (see: http://disneyworld.disney.go.com/wdw/sp ... MickeyPage )
If so, was it worth it? It looks like a pretty cool plush, I was just wondering how it works, if you can shut him up, and whether you can still retrieve the information from him when you get home etc?

Yeah, Greg doesn't like Mickey much it seems. Quite apart from that though, a pal Donald would be cute. :)

He might be a bit hard to understand, but at least he wouldn't talk in that squeeky little voice.

Maybe they could make Pal Donald so he 'talked' to Pal Mickey, who being the brighter of the two, could then interpret Donald so he was understandable...... :D

sorry Keith , kinda hijacked your thread for a while there..... :-#

Not at all, I've been enjoying the banter!

I haven't told Della about Pal Mickey yet - I just know what the reaction will be..."Ohhh...I want one of those!"

She actually registered on here yesterday as our 100th member "Pigletgirl" - so I suspect she will begin posting (hint, hint Della...)

And yes, she loves Piglet...

Thats GREAT :!: Hiya Della :D

I was actually wondering who would get the honour of being the lucky '100'. How cool is that....... 8)

And Piglet is my favourite 100 acre woods resident so good choice. Make sure you drop into the scrapbooking section Della - we can say what we like in there cos its 'un-moderated' -Sometimes we even talk about scrapbooking.... \:D/

Not at all - I am not a fan either - although Tigger and Eeyore do occasionally have a great one-liner. But generally these movies are too 'sweet' for me...

...now if they added some helicopters and explosions...

I just found a really interesting article on Pal Mickey http://www.cioinsight.com/article2/0,15 ... 263,00.asp it's a little old but I doubt it's changed too much since then.

I notice that they are going for about $50 - $60 US on ebay, which is not much less than they cost in the park. What with the Backstage Magic Tour and now having to buy one of these (not for the Mickey, just because the concept is cool) I think Orlando is going to be an expensive place.
