Erin earned $189 for 39 hours work!!!
I'm not saying that's fair, but she is getting paid at least.

A lot of colleges student in the US undertake internships with corporations, government departments and NGOs, and get no money at all. They do it for the work experience and the entry on the CV. They have to get a scholarship or bludge money off parents for six months - I guess it is like the old apprenticeship system from the middle ages!

Just a different way of doing things over there I guess.

It doesn't seem to be slowing her down. She hired a car this week to have a look around Orlando and even bought herself a guitar!

I'll try and add some photos of some the booty Disney has given her.

This was given to Erin in the Traditions training - this is enough I think to make all of us give up our day job and accept poverty wages. Check out the next photo of Traditions too

Is there another way to see these photos? I couldn't access them, something about needing permission.

Thanks for that. Some cool stuff there. And I have never done a work training course where Mickey Mouse stopped by. HOW COOL WOULD THAT HAVE BEEN?! -/

Erin earned $189 for 39 hours work!!!

Is that the amount left after paying the rent, presume she is staying in the Disney section where all the international short terms workers stay.

I'm not sure about the rent situation. I do know that she is living in an under 21s area with full security. Disney do take very good care of them including a fantastic welcome party.

Where's Erin? This one is dead easy.

This photo was take by Glenda (seething jealousy) today at 7.00am our time, 3pm Monday their time. Glenda's additional comments were "Watching beauty and the beast just got off tower of terror excellent"

It also sounds like Glenda didn't have problems with crowds in HP World.

This is a cool shop. She's smiling, that's always a good thing.

Erin's coming home - misses her family too much. She said to her mum if you tell me to stay I will, so that sounds like to me she just needed some encouragement. She's barely seen anything and spent most of her days off catching up on sleep - what a waste!

Disney is wasted on youth!

I think she only went to HPW once and she is a mad HP fan.

That's a shame. I was a real home/family body when I was in my late teens and early twenties and even on my overseas holidays then I use to get homesick, so I know where she is coming from. I'm sure she would have gotten more into the swing of things if she could have stayed a bit longer. Is she at least stocking up on Disney pressies before she leaves?

That's very disappointing to hear. It would be hard for a young girl though to be away if you haven't really done it before. At least she tried and she has experienced it if only for a short time.

I don't think she paid enough to shop. I just got some USD and was about to send it for her birthday!
